No Cycle for you! Two years!!! Out! [Jun. 3rd, 2004|05:50 pm]

[mood |annoyedannoyed]

Lesson #4391256

Don't speed when there is a chance you will be booked.

You might lose your Licence for a couple years!

and it will leave you gutted, hollow and wanting to destroy every f***ing pig you see.

and your lack of respect for authority increases exponentially.

I know we all do it...

whether or not you get caught is a matter of luck.

and I'm shit outta luck right now

(at least for 2 years)

[mood |accomplished]
[music |none I am at work]

This weekend the shop installed a new chain and sprockets and dunlop 208s on the yellow beast. She is yet unnamed but the 14/38 gearing has made hef fun fun fun in the sun. She rips down the road like a raped ape now ;o) The full termis keep her singing loud and clear..

Someone convince me I dont need a slipper clutch and new cams in her.. my bank cant stand that upgrade yet..

Pretty Ducati is in daycare.. [Mar. 19th, 2004|07:40 pm]
[mood |anxiousanxious]
[music |J. Jackson- Cookie jar]

So, she went to Philly's yesterday to get her valves done, oil change, fix rear break, new brake pads, fix tail light, chop off top of air box, fluids check, check battery, and an overall looking at.

I miss her.
At least she has the yellow boys (a Ducati and a harley) in the garage with her to keep her company and safe.
On the way over to his house, I almost got run off the road by two people yelling out of their car windows to tell me my tail light was flickering. "HEY DUDE! YER LIGHT IS FLASHIN"!!" Thankx, Dude for almost running me off the road to tell me that.

And naturally, this has been the best weather we have had yet. Hopefully I will have her back by next weekend, and that it will be warm.

Still any takers for riding buddies?

riders are using the course.
Please refer to the SuperMotard racing schedule at
http://www.superbikeclassic.com/schedule.htm for a schedule times

Here's the actual report. :) [Mar. 26th, 2003|10:40 pm]

I just got back from a long (600 mile) ride from here in Austin, TX to Leakey, TX. LOTS of fun, and this time, no one ate it, so that was certainly a bonus.

On top of that (and here's where I get real excited), Jeff (the guy I bought my Blast from and a good friend, now works for DucatiAustin) brought out a 999 as a demo (the biposto, so it wasn't adjustable like the
monoposto), and let me ride it. Wow. Wow. Wow.

Impressions of the new Duc...Collapse )
